Activities & Excursions

Through a rich and varied programme, our school offers its pupils stimulating and enriching educational experiences. Each age group benefits from adapted activities that encourage curiosity, learning and openness to the world.

Outdoor activities

From an early age, we take our children to explore nature on outings to the countryside, the forest and the farm. Visits to the fire station are also a popular experience for our youngest children.

Arts & Culture

From the age of 5, we introduce them to culture through musical immersions at the Victoria Hall, performances at the Geneva Grand Théâtre and themed screenings at the Grütli cinema.

Sports

Sports experiences are also part of the school's openness to the world, with skating from the age of 4, swimming from the age of 6 and the discovery of a wide range of sports throughout the year.

History

History is also taught in real life, during trips to Geneva's old town for the Escalade festival, to immerse students in the history of Geneva, or during end-of-year camps on the theme of dinosaurs, the Lacustres or medieval times.

Sciences

From the age of 9, we take them to workshops at the University of Geneva (Physiscope, Chimiscope, Terrascope, Mathscope or Bioscope) and at CERN.
We also invite professionals into the school or via video-conferences to give our pupils an insight into a wide range of professions, including writers, pilots, sportsmen and women, scientists, etc. Parents are also invited to talk to us about their careers.

Humanism

We then refine their understanding of human rights through tailored visits to the UN, the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and by attending a session on the Rights of the Child at the Palais Wilson.

Our ultimate goal is for our pupils to take part in a unique United Nations simulation experience at the Montessori Model United Nations (MMUN) in Rome, representing a country on issues of global concern, with pupils from all over the world.

We develop our pupils' civic commitment, firstly through our eco-school project, which enables us to work towards preserving our planet through concrete actions chosen by the pupils.
